very helpful for a newcomer . Content of the webinar was very helpful for me as a newcomer to the SEI.

Relative Impact Interesting but Requires Research to Impleme. The concept is very interesting and valuable for showing the impact of volunteers in an organization. However, it assumes that an organization is already measuring the cost of staff time for various programs and events; those that are will find this easier to grasp than those who aren't. The instructor needs more practical application examples, how to help organizations do two spreadsheets through Quick Books (or tell them how to find out or what to do if not possible.) The hardest portion of this is figuring out the value of a volunteer activity. Since fiscal people are more likely to implement this, they will be less comfortable arbitrarily assigning a value if none exists in the research. If the idea is just to arbitrarily assign and use only as comparison from year to year, then this could be better incorporated into the curriculum.

Volunteer Management Training Series Rating. I thought the class was great. Nice blend of cohorts and the topics and presenters were outstanding. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants to get a nice overview of volunteer management and use what you learn in the workplace.

Informative but Expected More. I was expecting to learn more about Verified Volunteers and how our organization and our partners could use it. The information on why background checks are important was informative, but I thought there should have been a second part that dealt with how nonprofits can mitigate risk instead of just why nonprofits should.

Serviceworks 2014 training. It was easy to follow, although the audio was a little muffled.

Review. Wish more people would be on these webinars so we could get all their ideas, too.

Worthwhile presentation. Expected to get more resources from the presentation more than what I do already. But it was worthwhile listening to the statistics available & to not just focus on the vet but their family members too.
